The Costume Institute Gala - Best Dressed

The Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the the most fashionable red-carpet events in the world. It's held every year in New York and this year the event was held in honour of the great Alexander McQueen.

Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty - CATALOGUE

These are a few images from the exhibition catalogue, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty by Andew Bolton. The exhibition, which will be held between May 4 - July 31, celebrates Alexander McQueen’s remarkable vision and creativity and it is formed from approximately 100 designs, including rare examples of his early work.
The pieces were photographed by Sølve Sundsbø on models transformed to look like mannequins using a combination of makeup and technology.
