Mulberry introduces the 'Del Rey' bag

Inspired by, you guessed it, newest fashion world obsession, Lana Del Rey! The bag hits the stores in May, with prices starting at $1250. It will be available in "Deer Brown Grainy Print", "Black Forest Soft Matte", "Black Soft Spongy" and "Petrol Veg Tanned Lambskin" leathers. 

Here's what Mulberry creative director Emma Hill had to say about Lana as a muse for the new bag: "I love Lana’s nostalgic references to bygone glamour and the fact that her look is retrospective yet so modern. This inspired us to create a bag that was timeless, refined and elegant, yet with a beautiful practicality that would suit any woman. We love its perfect proportions and effortless simplicity.  As soon as the sketches were completed it felt so familiar, loaded with classic Mulberry heritage DNA."

Splurge vs. Steal: Mulberry Polly Push Lock Satchel

I know everybody's crazy about the Alexa and Bayswater bags from Mulberry, but my favorites have always been the Neely bag and now, its improved version - the Polly Push Lock Satchel (which features a push lock - hence the name). I love it! It's perfect for daily activities and for school. AND it has a 70s air.

Genţile IT: Alexa & PS1

Odată cu apariţia genţii Mulberry Alexa în toamna lui 2009, asemănările dintre aceasta şi Proenza Schouler PS1 au fost intens discutate. 

Vedetele de la Hollywood s-au grăbit să-şi arate preferinţa pentru unul dintre modele, purtându-le la diferite evenimente. 

PS1 este pe placul lui Mary Kate Olsen, Leighton Meester sau Kirsten Dunst, pe când Mulberry Alexa a fost vazută pe umărul Alexei Chung (care este şi co-designer-ul genţii).
