Hot New Trend: Christian Louboutin 'Pivichic' Pumps

In this past week, while admiring the latest New York Fashion Week looks, I couldn't help but notice a gorgeous pair of patent leather and PVC stripe pumps on Sarah Jessica Parker.

I admired them, then moved on. Then, two days ago I saw pictures of Katy Perry wearing a black version of the shoes, but since I don't really like her style or the outfit she was wearing, I didn't pay that much attention. But after seeing them today on Chloe Moretz I absolutely fell in love with the Louboutin heels. Girl sure knows how to dress-up and she's only 16 years old!

So, in true fashionista behaviour, I did a little research. It seems that the hot new shoes are called the "Pivichic" pumps and come in two colors: black and the amazing shade of coral that SJP is wearing. They're not for sale yet, but I'm sure as soon as they hit the shelves they'll be sold out.

And if these 4 stars all wore the Pivichic pumps this week, imagine the craziness that's about to start once stylists and celebrities all over the world see or find out about them! It will be Pigalle or Un Bout mania all over again!

Here's how these ladies wore the Pivichic shoes. Which outfit do you enjoy the most?

Chloe Moretz at the Elle UK Style Awards 2013. She picked up the award for Next Future Icon while wearing a Stella McCartney dress and the Christian Louboutin Pivichic pumps.

Sarah Jessica Parker wore the pumps with a L'Agence fitted dress and a striking blue Misha Nonoo fur coat for NYFW.

Kerry Washington at the ABC Studios. Kerry wore a Fendi sleeveless dress and a camel  Max Mara coat.

Katy Perry at a Hollywood pre-Grammy party. She paired the shoes with a Oscar de la Renta dress and  an Eddie Parker Jean clutch.

Top 10 Best Dressed - Critics' Choice Awards 2013

Happy New Year, dearest readers! And sorry for the lack of posts lately.

As many of you already know, besides sales season, January and February are also important in the movie industry. This is the time when some of the most prestigious awards are given and the red carpet outfits have to be outstanding. I know People's Choice Awards are more popular than the Critics' Choice Awards ceremony, but I personally didn't think that this year there were enough impressive gowns to make a top ten out of them and that's why I chose to publish this top first.

BUT there will be a top 5 favorite gowns at People's Choice Awards 2013 today, so keep close.

Feel free to disagree, this is my personal opinion. Don't forget that style is a matter of taste!

La Blouse Roumaine

Hello, dearest readers! I know I've been quite absent for a while, but I figured that this is the best moment for my comeback.

Today we celebrate the Great Union in Romania and I believe one of the best way to promote your country and to show your love for it is to wear the Romanian folkloric costumes (the Romanian dress). I remembered that Yves Saint Laurent was inspired by said costumes and in 1981, he created "La blouse roumaine".  Other designers that have been influenced by the Romanian dress are Tom Ford,  Phillippe Guilet, Joseph Altuzarra, Jean Paul Gaultier, Oscar de la Renta.

Here's what the blouse looked like and below that you can see a Romanian traditional blouse (ie):
