Rihanna for RIVER ISLAND

Ok, so Rihanna. I can't say I liked the way she dressed at the beginning of her career, but I've definitely admired her style evolution for the past two years or so. I absolutely love it how she can go from grunge to glam in a blink of an eye. To find out that she will be launching a capsule collection for River Island, one of my favorite British retailers made my day! I'm sure I'll be thrilled with most of the collection, so I can't wait for Spring 2013, when it's going to hit the stores!

Here's what Rihanna had to say about the collaboration: “I’ve been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I’m looking forward to working with them and creating something really special.”

Get the Look: RIHANNA'S COACHELLA OUTFIT

Hello, lovelies! As you know, this past weekend, all the cool people in Cali went to the Coachella Festival.

Since I saw you all loved the article about Rihanna from a few months ago, I thought you might enjoy it if I featured her in a post again. Some might not like her, but I must admit that I often find myself loving the way she combines patterns and styles, and this Coachella outfit makes no exception.

When creating the outfit I've tried to keep the brands she used, but some items were already out of stock. Here's what she actually wore: TOPSHOP Peace Bra-top, TOPSHOP Studded High-waisted Jean Shorts (I couldn't find the exact pair, but I used another studded one, also from TOPSHOP), Vintage Chanel Chain Print Bomber Jacket, Jeremy Scott for Adidas Leopard Sneakers, a gold chain(I figured I could use a random one) and Ray-ban Wayfarers.
