Ok, so Rihanna. I can't say I liked the way she dressed at the beginning of her career, but I've definitely admired her style evolution for the past two years or so. I absolutely love it how she can go from grunge to glam in a blink of an eye. To find out that she will be launching a capsule collection for River Island, one of my favorite British retailers made my day! I'm sure I'll be thrilled with most of the collection, so I can't wait for Spring 2013, when it's going to hit the stores!

Here's what Rihanna had to say about the collaboration: “I’ve been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I’m looking forward to working with them and creating something really special.”

YSL without the "Y"?!

Yves Saint Laurent. No, scratch that. Saint Laurent from 2013 on. I guess Hedi Slimane desperately wants to make changes at YSL, now that he's the creative director. So it will be just SL. Hmm, SL fom Saint Laurent or for SLimane? That's what I was thinking too. But, question is, is this for the better? Because, in my humble opinion, the YSL logo is one of the most iconic ones. I used to be a big fan of Hedi Slimane, but this change is one that just doesn't get my vote. I believe he's doing this for himself and not for the company, like he says.

On the bright side, imagine how much will the vintage YSL stuff cost. Lucky those who plan on selling them in the future!

I don't know about you, but for me it's a dream come true! Affordable Maison Martin Margiela clothes and accessories! Yes, it's been confirmed, the French fashion house is collaborating with H&M for the A/W 2012 season.

The collection comes out on November 15, both online and in over 230 stores around the world, so brace yourselves!

CFDA 2012 - Top Best Dressed

I know I'm a few days late, but I really didn't want to miss this post, so here it is. CFDA is usually one of my favorite red-carpet events of the year, but I must say that this year I was quite disappointed with the dresses. In the past years, I was crazy about at least half the gowns, but now the only one that I really really loved was the Lela Rose that Mandy Moore wore. The rest of the dresses were nice too, but it felt like I've already seen versions of those dresses everywhere. What about you? Did you have a favorite?

Oh, and before I forget. A couple weeks ago I had a best dressed at Cannes list, which seems to have vanished. But no worries! I will try to remember all the people and their gorgeous outfits and I will post the top. I promise!
